The Rambling Celt
Hello, my name is Róise and I am a Scottish-based writer/director – with roots in the North of Ireland – whose short films have received multiple awards and international recognition. Being an Irish and Scottish Gaelic speaker, my films often use minoritised languages to explore cross-cultures, polarisation, and divided communities. To learn more about my films, visit here.
For the past ten years I’ve also worked in marketing and PR. I’ve written press releases for the likes. If you’re wanting to learn a little more about PR or would like support writing press release/promotion, then visit here.
As well as film-maker, I’m an avid Munro climber, literature lover, musician, and wild-swimmer. I write about my adventures and thoughts here.
If you have any questions – feel free to email me: roisenicanbheatha@gmail.com
Onwards and upwards,
Róise
